Chapter 16
Ethan got worried by the hour, pacing about the space. No one seemed to know where they had gone but from few guards reported that Odessa and Rowan always went out at that time. He grabbed Elara in despair.
“Where are they?”
He thundered.
“I don’t know!”
Rowan filled her in in the details of his ordeal with Odessa, she knew it was a bad idea if Ethan was unaware of it but she would let them settle their scores personally. To a large extent, she trusted Rowan’s judgement not to hurt Odessa. Ethan let go of her hand and let his eyes peer deep into her eyes. He knew her lips could lie but her eyes wouldn’t. They were filled with fear, he knew his outburst was scaring her hence he let himself breathe.
“Get out! All of you! Xandros as soon as they come lead them to me.”
