Chapter 35
Whitney’s screaming echoed through the walls of the mansion to the guards' ears. Xandros was the first to pick it up, with Rowan running right behind him and subsequently overtaking him. They fought to hold Odessa down. Her convulsion was propelled by an inner force which made it more difficult for them to hold her down, hence it yielded fruit when more guards came to help hold her down.
“She has the strength of ten men!” One of the guards grunted amidst the struggle.
“Do your job, bastard!” Xandros yelled at him. He could see the fear in their eyes as they strapped her to her bed with the leather belts. She had a struggle for a while before her lips parted, letting out a loud extended groan, and she slipped back to unconsciousness.
