Chapter 33
Tharros stormed into the house, his head ached from the tumultuous event at the castle. Despite his pleas that the Premier let Odessa and Ethan go, it all fell on deaf ears. He had made several calls to his acquaintances in high places but most of them sided with the Premier’s decision. He knew that something more dangerous was coming, and Moonstone Bay may not be ready for the whole weight, but no one paid heed to him.
“Dad?” Luca’s voice resounded in the dark alley.
Tharros hummed a response as he made his way to his Study. Luca followed carefully behind him, his ears itching to know what had happened to Odessa. Suspense had been eating him up and no one had the right answer to his inquisition.
