I must be in shock. I swear Vance just crashed in here and told me my daughter is gone. But that can’t possibly be true. He was with her. He never leaves her side. I frantically look around the room. The floor is littered with wolves, some injured, some dead. Some from my pack some from the visiting packs. I don’t know who got away and I still can’t fathom what the hell is going on. My head is spinning. I take in the chaos around us. There are still families in the room hiding under tables with small pups, the elders who were unable to fight are now coming out of there own hiding to help who they can. I can’t let my eyes stop at one place because I am desperately looking for my pups and mate. When I can’t see them, I start to panic. And quickly try to make myself around everyon
