Hunter's POV
I could feel it. There was something in the air. It smelled different somehow and yet the same. Then I heard it. A scream I knew well. Audrey, she's in trouble. It sounded as though she were wounded. There was no way I could get to her. She was in the opposite direction. I wouldn't make it in time. "Leon," I tried linking him. It sounded as though she were near his general area. He would be able to help. But he was silent.
"Leon, please, my sister is in danger," I pleaded with him to respond, but nothing. I heard nothing. The line was... the line was dead. That wasn't a good sign. I decided to shift tactics. "Nova, where is Leon?"
"Being protected by Audrey. He has been injured, but help is on the way," she quickly responded.
