Leon’s POV
I struggled to maintain balance as I went through the forest. Trees continued to pop up in front of me suddenly. My vision continued to blur as I stumbled. I hit the ground hard as I tripped over the root of a tree. “Get up!” growled Blaze.
“I’m moving as fast as I can,” I muttered as I struggled to push myself back up.
Somehow, I was able to maintain wolf form as my injury healed. It didn’t feel normal to still be in this form but in this much pain. Healing was usually better done in human form, so the wolf could be given more time to heal and rest. It was getting harder to breathe, but the closer I was getting to Nova, the more drive I had to push myself forward.
