Leon's POV
“Where is Darren?!” I heard Audrey ask a nurse before I saw something come flying out of the room and smash against the wall. “Get me someone who does!” she roared. There she was. The old Audrey was coming out to play.
The nurse came running out of the room in a panic. She nearly bumped into me, but I quickly stepped out of the way. I wasn't looking forward to this conversation. Walking into the room, I was met by Audrey sitting in her bed with a cup in hand, ready to launch it at whoever entered the room. Lila was in the bed next to her still unconscious.
“Oh, Leon... I mean Alpha,” she stuttered as she placed the cup back on the stand next to her. “You didn't hear what I said, did you?” She seemed worried all of a sudden.
“And saw what happened,” I told her.
