Sofia’s POV
I was outside the room waiting patiently for my baby to have her babies with my husband who was hugging me tightly.
“I still can’t believe this is happening.” I said to him.
“I know right, I was so shocked when I found out, I couldn’t believe it, she’s my baby.” He said closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
“I hope the twins are alright.” I said taking a deep breath.
After waiting around 2 hours we were called in the room by the doctors.
When we walked in I couldn’t help but cry, my baby was in the middle of the room, lying down falling asleep with her two babies, one at each side of her.
I made my way to one of the little ones, who i came to find out was the little girl as she was wrapped in a little pink blanket.
I was looking at her lovingly when she opened her eyes slightly, it was ever so slightly but it was enough, enough for me but I had to make sure.
“Tyler.” I called my husband.
“Yes love.” He said looking up from the baby boy.
“Come over here please.” I said and he came over confused.
“Is something wrong.” He asked me worried.
“Look at her eyes.” I told him.
“They are exactly like...” I started.
“Diego’s...” Tyler finished.
“Call Lee he deserves to be here.” I said quietly.
My husband walked out of the room to make a call and I kept on looking at my granddaughter, there’s one thing I don’t understand and that is why Alex didn’t tell us, why she decided to lie, I stayed calm and went over to look at my grandson.
Tyler soon walked back into the room taking deep strong breathes.
“Is he coming?” I asked going over and hugging him to try calm him down.
“He’s coming, I didn’t tell him what was wrong so he will arrive quiet panicked probably thinking something bad happened.

Alex’s POV
I woke up with my parents in the corner of the room chatting away.
“Hey dad, hey mum.” I said sitting up extremely sore.
“Hey Alex.” Dad said coming over to hug me then mum came after him.
“Alex have you looked at your baby girls eyes?” Mum asked.
“No I haven’t why.” I asked worried.
“Mum picked up my baby girl and brought her over to me, she was awake.
Her eyes were slightly opened when I looked carefully I realised something that would change everything, my baby girls eyes were different colours one bright blue and one green, just like her dad, I was soon crying and sobbing holding my baby to me.
“Alex why, why didn’t you tell us, why did you lie.” Mum asked sounding disappointed.
“I...I...didn’t...I...” I tried to talk but couldn’t get the words out.
“Alex it’s ok calm down, ok, breath, you don’t need to tell us right now alright.” Dad said coming over to my side and giving me a cup of water and mum came over and put the baby down.
“Alex we called Lee.” Dad told me, I was taking deep breaths trying to stay calm.
“Let’s talk about something else then, what are you naming them since you still having told us?” Mum asked me smiling.
“Charlotte Sofia Wells and Charlie Ty Wells.” I told them finally and watched them smile happily.
“Charlotte for Diego’s mum, Sofia after you mum, Charlie is a mix’s with Diego’s dad name in it and Ty is after you dad.” I said explaining all the names.
I was startled when someone knocked the door and my babies all got startled too as they both burst into tears. Dad went to open the door and mum helped me put the two babies in each one of my arms.
“Alex...” I heard Lee say from the door.
“Hey.” I said calm now as most of my attention was just on my babies and my baby boy who I just came to find out also has his fathers eyes.
“I’m sorry.” I said to Lee giving him a sad smile.
“It’s your right to see your grandchildren.” I said to him and he looked shocked.
“Can I hold them?” Lee asked coming over to my side.
“Yeah, take your pick.” I said and he laughed.
As Lee picked little Charlie up he started crying when he saw his eyes.
“Mr Wells can you please not tell?” I asked Lee and he looked up to me smiling sympathetically and said,
“Alex as much as i would love to run and tell my son right now I respect your decision even though it hurts me and will hurt him too, i bet you have your reasons.” Lee said in understanding making me take a breath in relief.
“What are they called?” Lee asked.
“Charlotte Sofia Wells and Charlie Ty Wells.” I told him.
“Thank you.” He said and I nodded.
