Chloe's POV
"Hey Chloe, how are you feeling today," the nurse Mark hired asked
"How do you think I fell?" I snarled
"You should be happy that Alpha and Luna let you live after what you did," she said and walked out of my room.
"I would rather be dead than live like this," I said as she shut the door.
Why would I be happy? That little b***h, Rose, stole my magic, making me nothing but mundane. Rose saved my life by using her powers to remove the bullet from my body, only to take my powers from me right after. So now I am a powerless human that is paralyzed. She knew what she was doing to me; my body couldn't heal by taking my abilities. Death would have been a better fate.
