Ariella is the quiet one of the four of us. She is shy at times, but the sweetest thing. She got her ways from my grandmother Isla Rhylie. Ariella reminds me a lot of my gran, they have the exact eyes, even the same faces. Which is beautiful and soft, their calm natures are fascinating.
Allison got her jeans from my grandfather Robert Rhylie who always speaks his mind. Never afraid to say what they feel, no matter how bad or painful that something is. Adrian as you've seen has aggression much like my mom Claire Rhylie. They have zero tolerance for bad behavior, nor do they go in favor of decisions made without their knowledge.
Then get me, plain Addison Rhylie. Though I got the skills of my dad, I am not as good as he was. Not even close to how brilliant he was in his business. He would always act tough, though his curious mind took him many places which in turn caused him to become a great leader.
Walking out of my mom's study I turn left with Ariella's handheld in mine. Heading towards the staircase, I make my way to my room on the right side. Inside my room, I look around at my neatly packed things, my shelves at the far end filled with CDs. From rock and hip hop to classical music, all stacked according to the years. My bed was made with a floral pattern matching the colors decorated around my room. Grey walls with turquoise floral designs painted onto the walls. White ceiling and carpet to go with my white shelves and cupboards.
"Come on, let's see what I will be taking," I say to Ariella as I walk to my CD's. Taking my favorites and putting them neatly into a suitcase I placed on my bed. I walk towards my cupboards and open them up. Emptiness is all I see, though the lone diary I have been hiding sticks out from at the bottom of my cupboard.
Bending done onto my knees, I grab the diary and stroke the black cover with the thumb of my left hand. I sit on the carpet staring at it for a while until Adrian comes in. "Addison?" He says in a broken voice, as he sits down next to me and embraces me in a tight hug. "I don't want you to go, please stay." His voice cracks at the word, please. My hold around his torso tightens as I feel tears streaming down my face.
Wiping my eyes clean of the tears. "Everything's going to be okay, trust me on this. I won't let anything happen okay. I'll always visit you, you are my brother so don't worry." I say softly as I pull away to wipe his tears on his cheeks. "Now stop crying, it doesn't suit you." I joke to lighten the atmosphere. He chuckles softly then stands up, helping me stand as well. "Thanks"
Heading toward my bedroom door, I take one last glance around. Closing my eyes I inhale then I make my way towards the staircase. Walking down the stairs with my small suitcase, the sound of a melodious laugh causes me to smile. Reaching the living room. "Ready to go?" I ask as Sebastian comes into view.
"Why yes gorgeous, I was just laughing with your mom." He says as he places a feather-like kiss on my right cheek. "Uh... oh-okay." I stare with widened eyes at my mom. "We best be off now, Mrs. Rhylie. We will visit often, I hope that's ok?" Asks Sebastian unsure of himself.
Chuckling lightly at him. "That's not a problem dear, and please call me Claire. You are my future son in law after all." Says my mom with a nod and wink of her eye. "Okay, Claire. See you soon I hope." He says as he walks over to my mom and takes her hand, placing a chaste kiss at the back of her palm on her left hand.
"Oh you are such a charming young lad, I knew I made the right choice for my young Addison here." Says my mom in a sweet voice, smiling at me in the process. "Addy?" Comes the small voice of Ariella from behind me. Tears streaming down her face, nose, and cheek red. "You're coming back right?" She bites her bottom lip to stop her cries from escaping her quivering chin. "Oh sweetheart," I say kneeling as my own eyes fill with tears. "I'll come and visit you all the time, you won't even notice I'm not living here. It won't be the same but I'll make sure I do."
Sebastian kneeling beside me and taking Ariella's hand in both of his speaks. "Don't cry, my princess. I'll make sure you can see your sister whenever you want and she can do the same okay. We can even become best friends if you want, this will make it more fun don't you think?" Ariella nodding, then jumping up to hug Sebastian melts my heart. A smile breaks out on my face at the sight before me.
"I like you." Says Ariella in a whisper, though I heard it. A chesty chuckle comes from Sebastian. "I like you too princess." Says Sebastian, stroking her hair and back. "It's time we take our leave okay sweetheart," I say as I place my hand on Ariella's back, brushing mine across Sebastian's hand in the process.
As Sebastian pulls away from Ariella she hugs me tightly. "I'm going to miss you being around here." She says in a soft voice into the crook of my neck. "I'll visit you every day. I promise." I mutter into her hair as I kiss her head. "Okay. As long as King Sebastian comes along with you okay?" She asks her attention directed at both me and Sebastian. "Okay, princess." Says Sebastian, she turns to me with hopeful eyes. I nod a yes as I kiss her cheek gently.
