There is a fine line between rest and death, separating one from the other. But such line was invisible to her now. There was only a vast expanse of white canvas, spreading to the horizon and continued beyond her vision. Varilerin studied her surroundings, the white nothingness now morphing into pillars reaching the skies. She was once more in the white hall where her parents rested, either in a dream or in death. Varilerin took the liberty to walk around, convinced she would not leave the place soon. There was no one who greeted her for a long moment, until she found a graceful woman standing not far. Her hair was brown, flowing in waves, and as Varilerin stepped closer she recognised her jovial face. “It’s been a long time, Varilerin,” Ellain said, her body swinging around playfully.
