"Let's go Es!" Victoria ordered. Es ran over to the railing and Victoria helped her on board the escape boat with Joe and the others. there was a slight relief when Joe saw her join their boat, she seemed the only one capable of actually defending against the beast in the water.
"Get us out of here!" Victoria shouted over the crying of Tig wa'nala'mbo to the security personal aboard either ships who were in charge of rowing and lowering the boats into the water, which they had begun doing at her command.
The ship was now rapidly descending into the depths and as they were lowering the boats it was as if the water was rising up to meet them. The cables were still connected to the ship and had to be disconnected before the cruise ship plunged completely and dragged the escape boats down
