Chapter Fourteen TESS My breathing was heavy by the time I got to Trigger’s room. I knew better than to go to my room; he’d only insist. I had no fight left in me. I never used his bath before, but it looked inviting, so I ran the water and stripped off my clothes. I almost giggled when I found bubble soap under the sink. I decided I wouldn’t go there, then I helped myself to some. I eased into the hot water and tuned in to the soothing sounds around me.
