I glanced at my reflection in the mirror before turning to meet Caramel’s gaze. “I am ready,” I said, and on cue, his phone chimed in his pocket. He took it out and glanced at the screen for a minute before turning to me. I could tell it was a message from his Beta.
“They just arrived,” he informed me, and I squealed in delight.
He chuckled, then took my hand and placed a kiss on my forehead. “Let’s go,” he said, and I nodded, feeling like a child given a lollipop. I could barely hide my feeling of excitement and happiness.
