Thank you for reading Quest Of The Goddess, I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I have writing it, and will join me again for Trust Of The Goddess and Heart Of The Goddess. If you want more stories from the world, there is also a series of standalones connected to it, Protectors Of Poison follows Serket, Daughter Of The Sun follows Sekhmet, and Servant Of Chaos follows Rhodopis (who isn't a goddess directly from mythology, but is from an Ancient Egyptian legend with similarities to Cinderella). There's also a short story following Edrice (Ma'at's priestess) called Priestess Of Truth. In the future there will also be a series based on Ma'at and Maahes.

All of the gods and goddesses mentioned (with the exception of Rhodopis) are real ones from Ancient Egyptian mythology. A lot of the ones in this story are major ones too. I have taken some liberties with aspects of them, and their personalities, but have tried to stay as faithful as possible in a lot of aspects of the book. Ancient Egyptian history and mythology has been a passion of mine since I was a child and my Dad showed me The Mummy (1999) well before he should have (I was only seven when it came out), so much so, that I'm currently fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine and studying for a diploma in Egyptology. I hope this comes across in my writing, as I love the characters so much.

I also want to thank you for sticking with me. Hathor's story changed significantly from what I originally had planned, but the original plot didn't feel right when I was working on the book. It's important to me to tell the story the way it's supposed to be told, and that's what happened with this series. The way it has unfolded feels right to me, and I look forward to exploring the characters more in the next book!
