I drew Anais closer to myself. Her face on my chest shook with sobs as tears coursed down in silent testimony. Testimony of something I could vaguely fathom yet had to be sure of. The heart rocked as one spasm after another hurled itself on her seashore called Rudi. And it shook close to my heart. To get some comfort. My fingers ran with all gentleness down her head. And the sea water of her sobs gradually subsided, running away with sighs from the rocks of hurt. I took out my handkerchief and gently dabbed it on her cheeks.
