I steadied my quick breathing. Inhale deeply, Ravi. Hold your breath. Now deeply exhale. My hand pressed the key tighter between the forefinger and thumb. With as less noise as possible I inserted the key, and with as steady as my hand could be, I turned it inside the lock. With a gentle click, the door released. A slice of breeze, cold and chilly touched my entire body. And no sooner it did, than it was gone. My hand pushed the door further. A faint light fell on the bedroom through the frosted glass of the closed window. I stepped in and opened the window when heaviness spread in my entire head and reached down my neck and rested till my shoulders.
