3. Humble Abode

Anastasia Pov

 As I'm listening to Dissolve by Absofacto my dad pulls into the driveway of a two-story house,

with a nice cut grass front yard and a pretty big porch that's decorated with one of those couch swings

and chairs and a glass coffee table. The house itself is a soft gray color with a white garage.

"Do you like it?" my mom said pulling my headphone from my ear.

"I love it, I said looking at the house in pure fascination.

"Well let's go inside then, my dad said.

I hopped out of the car and walked behind my parents who were unlocking the door.

'Wow, I said as I walked into the house. It had classic white walls. walking in you would see 

dining room that had a light bulb hanging from the ceiling that was surrounded by this fancy black thing.

As I walked through the house I saw the living room which had black couches with a big white fluffy carpet on the floor with a glass table on top and a 72 inch TV on the wall.

"We can show everything else later let's go look at your room." My dad explained 

"Ok" my parents walked me upstairs into a hallway that had four doors. And took me to the door

all the way at the end of the hallway. 

i closed my eyes and felt what I think was my dad's hand on my back leading me into the unknown place I think was my room.

"1,2,3 Open," My parents said in unison. I opened my eyes and was welcomed by a pink room that had 

a board with a bunch of artists like Tyler The Creator, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Kalis unchis, and more.

Then there was a bed that had a white comforter with a pink blanket at the bottom of the bed and had two white pillows and a pink fluffy pillow in the front with a big unicorn stuffed animal on top. in the corner was a white wood desk with a white rolling chair. And above the bed had gold lights with photos clipped to them. In front of my bed was a white dresser with my tv on top of it and led lights stuck behind it that were pink. And by my desk was my pink glitter curtains.

"Do you like it? my mom asked me. "Yes i- I love it" I said falling on my bed that was so soft I could have fallen asleep until my mom said, "Well you better get some good sleep cause you have school tomorrow." And when she said that I felt my stomach drop. You see I'm not very social so having to go to another school and have no one to talk to Is hard. The only reason me and Ravi became friends was that we had to do a school project together.

"Do I have to start tomorrow like I can't skip a day? I asked.

"Nope, there is no excuse for you to miss school now be down in an hour so you can have dinner." My mom explained. As both parents walk out of the I look at my phone to see the time and see that is 7:54 pm so I decided to take a shower. I walked into my bathroom that was pretty plain just pink shower curtains with a fluffy pink rug and pink toilet seat fabric. It took a while to figure out the temperature but 6 minutes later I figured it out and made sure it was super hot but not boil your skin off hot. I finished my shower 30 minutes later and put on the pink and black robe that said princess on the back and walked back to my room. I slipped into a cookie monster onesie and walked downstairs only to smell the most amazing thing ever. ALFREDO. ughhhh...that is my favorite food well one of them.

"Here set the table up for me please." my dad said as I took the three plates from him and napkins and set them neatly on the black dining table and grabbed the cups from the cabinet with my mom's help since I didn't know where they were. 

We all sat at the table prayed and then ate and talked awhile about me and what I had been doing while I was staying with my grandparents, and after that, I went to my room nice and full put the uniform that my mom had given me a red, white and black plaid skirt with a white button-up short-sleeved shirt with a plaid jacket that matched the skirt on my door hook.

And walked to my bed pulled my blanket back laid down and pulled the blanket back up and grabbed my phone set my alarm to 5:30 since I had to be at school by 7:00 am and it takes me a while to wake up. I put my phone under my pillow and laid my head down and fell into a deep sleep.
