You Kept Me Like A Secret

I watched as Hazel brought a flower back to life, before walking off, seeming dazed and confused. I blinked a few times, what is going on! Hazel is human, she shouldn't be able to do that.

I shook my head walking inside. I searched out Nate, I needed to tell someone.

" Nate remove yourself from my sister , we need to talk." I said , finding him where he usually is.

" Sorry." He said smiling before kissing Nellie and following me out to my room.

" What is up with Hazel." I said, again pacing the room.

" What do you mean." Nate said leaning against the far wall.

" I watched her, I watched her bring a flower back from the dead! She didn't even realize she did it!" I said, freaking out with a hint of excitement. If there is a small chance Hazel isn't human, then we could be together!

" Silas, she's human, you must have been imagining it." Nate said.

" I didn't!" I said yelling. I wasn't making it up, there is something weird with that family!

" Silas, I know how badly you want to be together, maybe your mind is playing tricks." Nate sighed. I shook my head.

" Nate please, I know what I saw." I said, begging my bestfriend to believe me.

" Okay, if you say you saw it, I'll believe you." He said nodding his head. I knew logically she was not a werewolf, I would have smelt her sent if she was.

But the underworld was filled with all kinds of creatures, creatures that humans deem from Legends , myths, fairytales. We've walked among them for years, we coexist.

The underworld use to be known to humans, until they threatened our very existence, thats when the government took over. They made rules and they were not forgiving.

I knew very little about the other creatures of the underworld, I was raised with werewolves they're the only things I know.

But I do know, Hazel Augestine is NOT human.

And I was going to find out who she was.
