The white moon set before morning. Errl and Hunny slept on separate piles of blankets on the cabin floor. They woke eager to meet the day. As the sun peeked over the treetops, Errl made pictures with a pencil in a notebook to show Hunny the position of the moon and where Joe had told him the space ship would return. He pointed to the chronometer on his arm and showed where six chronos would be. He jumped up and down with excitement. “So glad to have you back.” “Me too, Errl.” She glanced at him from the corner of her eyes and ducked her head into her shoulder.
