Karen shook her head playfully. "I know you can do better than that, Alexa," she said.
Alexa mumbled something in response. The problem with having a good instructor was that they knew when you were trying to slack off. It had been several months since the breakup with Jerome. Although everything in her life was moving along fine now, she was lonely at times. Today, she wanted to be anywhere other than a yoga studio. The rainy skies and chilly weather almost convinced her to remain in bed. After arriving at the yoga studio, her disposition had not improved. For some reason, she managed to forget that today was hot yoga. Instead of a relaxing wake up session, Alexa was living through hell. Each movement reminded her of how much she did not want to be here.
