The minutes passed quickly until William's arrival. Alexa had ordered Chinese food and reorganized the apartment multiple times. Inwardly, she bemoaned her choice of location again. Compared to William's mansion, her apartment was a hovel. She glanced into the kitchen. Although she normally preferred wine, a red or white wine seemed like such an odd pairing for Chinese takeout. At the last second, she dashed out to buy a case of beer.
