The entire space inside of the Seattle Convention Center was fuller than she ever saw it before. Despite the focus on Silicon Valley, Seattle was still a thriving, innovative technology community. This convention gave Alexa new ideas—and the contacts she made could keep her business going for several years more. All in all, this weekend had been a success. She gave a formal seminar on Internet marketing. Besides earning tuition from the students, the seminar brought in even more clients. Even when she taught the clients how to do her job, it seemed like they would rather pay her to do the work. She snorted. If she had the money, she would choose the same option.
