Chapter : 2. Breaking his anger..

After staying in the bathroom for a while, I calmed myself down. Jasper just went into the room after getting angry at me. He is right in his place, too. We have to keep trying if we want a child. He's desperate to have a baby too, just like me. If I'm the one who's creating complications for that, then I should be the one to mend it too. Thinking about this, I washed my face again and made myself presentable. Putting the robe on my body, I kept it loose so that the front of my body can be seen. After taking a deep breath and putting up a smile on my face, I entered the bedroom. Jasper was lying on the bed, closing his eyes to fall asleep. I slowly went to him and slide myself on the bed beside him.

“I have important work in the morning. Don't disturb me.” He said angrily.

I didn't sleep for the rest of the night. So I thought to get out of the bed early and make some nice breakfast for both of us. After that, I also have to go to my office. Yes, I work in an office. Jasper has a company here in Miami, and he gave me the responsibility to take care of it. At first, he didn't agree to let me work or even get out of the house because of the accident I got in. But staying in a huge mansion alone was making my mental breakdowns more intense. That's why I suggested that he let me work, so that I can take my mind out of those thoughts while I'm busy doing my job. It will also help Jasper with his workload.

As I was done with cooking breakfast, I saw Jasper coming to the dinning room. After putting down the last plate on the table, I greeted him.

“Good morning. Had a nice sleep.”

“Very. Special thanks to you.” He came to me and gave me a kiss.

“I made something special for you today.” I gave him the plate of Churrasco(Steak) and saw an immediate smile come to his lips.

“Wow… My favorites. Yum…” he instantly dig into his plate and with the first bite, a moan came out of his mouth.

“Oh, my god. It's delicious. I can't ever get enough of your foods. Where did you learn to cook so delicious foods?” He said without stopping eating.

“I don't know. I just like to cook. You can say it's one of my talents.” I said jokingly.

“You're getting double reward for this. Now tell me what you want? I'll give it to you.” He said, making me think about it.

There's nothing much I can ask for. I already have everything I need. I have money, clothes, jewelries, nice home, more than one car, everything. The only thing that's missing from my life is some love. I know Jasper loves me, but it's very rare to get it. Not only because he's always away from home, but because sometimes I feel like all of this is fake. Sometimes he really behaves rudely with me.

“There's nothing I can ask for you at this moment, but for one thing. A day. You just came to me yesterday. Can you please stay with me for one more day? I feel so alone when you are not around.” I told him in a sad tone.

“Umm… I don't know. I have to check. You know I have so many things to do. Missing a day would make so much loss for me.” He said, putting down the fork from his hand.

“It's just one day…” I said as I felt tears pricking my eyes.

What am I doing? I can't make him chose between wife and work. Both are important equally. I myself have a job and responsibility to take care of my company. And he has to take care of so many like mines. How can I tell him to choose? I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself. It's not fair if I bother him like this as a wife. I should be the one to encourage him, not drag him behind.

“You know what, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said that. It's really silly how I asked you to stay home while I have important works myself today. I will see you in a few days, anyway. You can go.” I said with a fake smile, but my eyes betrayed me as a drop of tear came out of it.

“Hey, don't cry… You know what? I'm staying here for today. You owed a reward to me, anyway. This would be your reward.” He said, giving me a side hug.

“Really? Thank you so much. I love you.” I jumped on him and gave him a kiss.

“Okay, okay… But don't forget you have to go to office today and complete your work. But today I will accompany you there. This way I can see the progress of my company, too. It's going to be a surprise inspection of your company.” He said with a wink.

“It's a deal then. But after that, you have to take me out for a nice lunch.” I told him with a smile.

“Deal.”

I can't believe I made him agree to stay here for today. This is going to be one amazing day after so long..
