“You want me to dispose of him?” Hornet asked.
Kharem shook his head. “Not yet. More important matters first.”
He pulled up his screen, started tapping. As he read the data, he waved a hand for Hornet to sit.
“Won’t be long before Authority knows something’s happened,” Kharem said. “Might not know he’s dead, but they’ll suspect. They’ll send others.”
“So we have to secure this place.”
Kharem nodded. “The whole Dome.”
“Thought it was supposed to be impenetrable.” The warrior smiled.
“We need to know where we stand,” Kharem said. “The residents won’t be a major issue.”
