29 - 29 - Cora did exactly as Cat requested. The gate was unmanned, the traps were disengaged, and the security systems accepted Cat’s codes. He walked for a couple of hours, the tunnels doubling back more times than he cared to count, but eventually he reached the final doorway, and stepped out into Genna’s district. It took another hour to reach her towers, and Cat was struck by the changes. There were very few people around, and any he did spy retreated to the shadows faster than he’d have expected.
