DEAN POV The birds were chirping outside, everyone was busy with their daily activities. Like everyday I woke up from my bed, had my breakfast which was kept ready for me on my table, and began to get ready to help the villagers to make traps for the wolves. The weapons were made with sharp and pointed stones. Along with a bow and arrow. The tip of the arrow was dipped in liquid which would make the wolves unconscious. This liquid is such when it enters the body it would get mixed in the blood, the reaction of this liquid is quick. When this liquid gets mixed in the blood it would make the body weak, so weak that the body would lose its strength. These arrows were for the wolves, which were to be gifted to the king. "Hurry up Dean!!" One of the villagers said while packing the bow and arrows in a bag. "Yes it's almost done, here you go I will help you in packing them", I said while placing the arrows in a bag. "We need to move fast before it gets dark, or else we will not be able to make it, you know how dangerous it is out in the Wood's" the head of our villager said. "We will first set the traps for the wolves, then once the wolf is trapped we will attack it, did i make myself clear?" The head asked. "Yes head we will do as you instructed us to do", the others replied. "So Dean, when will you join us in the hunt?", the head asked me. "Ahh I would prefer to stay behind as the village needs someone, you guys can leave. It is not safe for the old, the kids and women to stay alone, I will protect them in your absence", I replied. "Ok fine, we should now take a move, remember to stay alert", the head said with a stern voice. The villager left to hunt, I started to carry on with my duties. My students gathered near my house for practice. "I want you all to take your position", I said with a stern voice. They did as I said. "Remember one thing during a fight we need to know what would be the next move of our opponents. We need to be smart enough during a fight. A fight is not only won by strength it's also won by our brain". I said After a lecture I taught them their moves and tactics to fight. "Dean, I hope you're done with your teaching lessons. We need to go fishing, we need the fish for tonight's dinner. "Ok fine I will get you in another hour, I will first have my lunch, is that fine?", I asked "Ok fine after you are done with your lunch get your fishing nets ready, I will be waiting near the gate" saying this my friend left. Ryan is my best friend. We were cool and close buddies from childhood. In any situation Ryan was always there for me. He is the only loyal and trustworthy friend I have. I sat on my dining table where Auntie Maddie served me food. After my grandma's death Auntie Maddie used to cook me lunch and dinner. After I had my lunch I said goodbye to Auntie Maddie, I took my fishing net along with me and headed towards the river. Ryan was nowhere to be seen, I guess he would join me sometime later. Maybe he got busy somewhere with some work. So I walked alone towards the river. When I reached there I noticed that near the river was lying a beautiful girl wearing a white gown. She was unconscious near the river bank. When I went closer, I saw that she had beautiful pink lips, her skin was white as snow. When I touched her hand it was so soft and sensitive. The girl was bleeding from her head, the wound looked pretty deep. I noticed that near her was lying a beautiful blue pendant which seemed to belong to this beautiful young lady. I carried her into my arms and took her along with me to the village. The villagers surrounded me as I arrived, and they began to question me about this mysterious girl. "Who is this girl Dean?" "Where did you find her?" "Answer us Dean", they asked. "I will answer all of your questions later, but first let me take her to my place, she is so cold and she is bleeding, I need to treat her wounds", I said. I laid her on my bed, I asked auntie Maddie to change her gown as it was soaked with water. Auntie Maddie did as I said, she changed her gown and put on a beautiful blue attire. I began to dress the girl's wounds. "Auntie Maddie please take care of this girl till I return. If she gains consciousness please give her something to have as she looks tired and weak. She has also lost a lot of blood as she was bleeding from her head". I said while dressing her wounds. "Yes of course Dean sweetheart, till this girl stays In our village I will take care of her, it is our duty to take care of our guests"auntie Maddie replied. I left for fishing as we needed the fish for dinner. "Who was that girl Dean?", my friend asked out of curiosity. "I don't know who she is, I found her unconscious lying here near the river bed", I answered while putting my fishing net into the sea. "She is so beautiful Dean, she doesn't seem to be a villager, I think she belongs to a royal family",my friend replied without removing his sight from me. It seems that he wanted to see my facial expressions. "Maybe,'' I replied without looking at him and concentrating on fishing. The truth was that is had fallen in love with that mysterious girl, I couldn't get my mind off her. She looked so beautiful. Ryan kept talking to me, but I was not listening to him because I was thinking of that mysterious girl. Ryan snapped his fingers in front of my face,"what are you thinking dean, thinking of that mysterious beautiful girl", he said with a chuckle. He was trying to tease me. The truth was that I had fallen for that girl, and I couldn't get my mind off her. She was so beautiful, that I couldn't wait to get home and meet her. We both were done fishing. After fishing we headed towards the jungle to collect mushrooms and fresh fruits for soup. My grandma taught me how to identify which mushrooms are poisonous and which one we could consume. So I am pretty good at it. I also collected some medicinal leaves for the mysterious girl. These leaves would heal her wounds faster. o-o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o
