As Violet stepped out of the meeting room, her mind still preoccupied with the weight of the professors' expectations, she was taken aback by Liam suddenly appearing in front of her. Startled, her eyes widened, and her heart skipped a beat. But before she could react, Liam's face broke into a mischievous grin.
"Boo!" Liam exclaimed, his voice filled with playful mischief.
Violet's initial fear quickly turned into a mixture of relief and annoyance. With a swift motion, she reached out and playfully slapped Liam's shoulder. "Liam, you scared the life out of me! What are you doing here?"
Liam laughed, rubbing his shoulder where Violet had hit him. "Oh, come on, Vi! I couldn't resist giving you a little scare. You looked so serious coming out of that room."
