Violet slowly turned around to face Liam, her eyes filled with a mixture of exhaustion and relief. Her condition was visibly devastated—her cheeks were pale, dark circles formed under her eyes, and her body seemed fragile, as if she had not eaten or slept in days. Tears stained her cheeks, evidence of the emotional turmoil she had endured.
As Violet locked eyes with Liam, a surge of emotions overwhelmed her. She tried to speak, but her voice faltered, caught in her throat. The sight of him standing there, the person who had tirelessly searched for her, caused her vision to blur. Overwhelmed by weakness, she swayed on her feet, unable to maintain her balance.
Without a moment's hesitation, Liam instinctively lunged forward, his arms outstretched to catch Violet as she collapsed.
