CHAPTER -
Zara arrived at Kathy's house, her footsteps echoing through the hallway as she made her way to Kathy's room. Concern weighed heavily on Zara's mind as she knocked softly on the door. She knew her friend had been feeling down lately, and she wanted to be there for her.
"Hey, Kathy, it's me, Zara," she called out gently, her voice filled with genuine care.
The door opened slowly, revealing Kathy's somber expression. Her eyes showed traces of sadness, and her shoulders slumped. Zara's heart sank at the sight, but she maintained a warm smile, letting Kathy know that she was there for her.
"Hey, Zara," Kathy greeted, her voice tinged with a mix of appreciation and sadness. "Thanks for coming over."
