Annie
“There’s a truck pulling up!” Annie squealed.
She had been sitting by the front window most of the day, anxiously awaiting Dru’s return. She kept telling herself that he more than likely wouldn’t have Ethan with him, but she couldn’t help that small part of her deep down that hoped he would. Annie jumped up and ran towards the front door.
Chelsie and Stephanie were right behind her. Ava was breastfeeding her newborn baby on the couch. Autumn had Isabella, but she stood up and headed towards the front foyer as well. Annie threw the front door open and dread filled her as the men filed out of the truck covered in blood.
“Oh my God!” Stephanie shoved passed Annie. “Where’s Jake?” Stephanie cried.
“He stayed with Dru, they were still fighting,” Rocky said, not bothering
