Annie
Annie felt weak and powerful all at the same time. She was weak with relief that the healer had shown up to take over Terrell’s ministrations. She was weak with joy knowing her son was safe, downstairs. She felt powerful knowing that throughout it all Dru had needed her just as much as she had needed him. She felt powerful now that she had realized just what it mean to be a part of Dru’s pack and have the support of so many amazing people.
Dru helped her dry off, and then they both quickly dressed. Annie was anxious to see Ethan now that she wasn’t covered in blood and on the brink of a nervous breakdown.
