Undercover Begins
Checking her watch as she steps out into the cool morning sun, Clare locks the front door of her mobile home, and takes a deep breath of the pleasant desert air. To relieve her ongoing anxiety about this new assignment, and the possibility of Brad not showing up, she takes another deep breath as she climbs into her car.
As she arrives at the Hotel’s parking lot, some of her anxiety is relieved when she spots Brad’s dark green Chevy truck parked under a large mesquite tree in the corner of the lot. She parks next to him.
