I lost track of time. I could only feel Dorian's cold lips on my skin as he continued to draw blood from my veins. My head began to feel light, but it wasn’t all unpleasant as adrenaline rushed through me. I noticed as his eyes slowly began losing their glow, and by the time they were back to normal, Dorian lifted his mouth away from me and wiped at his lips. He looked at me worriedly as I retracted my arm. “Are you alright?” he asked, lightly touching my cheeks. I nodded, relishing the feeling of his fingers caressing my face. “Just a bit lightheaded, but I fared worse when Mary kicked me in the face.” But Dorian was in no laughing mood.
