The house was filled with awkwardness as Dominic stared at Dila while Gideon glared at Dominic. Luigi also kept stealing glances at me, looking worried as minutes went by. It’s been around five minutes of just… staring.
Dila seemed to be in a good mood. She was squirming a bit and kept reaching out to me and wanting to play. I instinctively held her closer to me the more Dominic stared at us.
I’m scared, mostly because I can’t guess what was going on in his mind.
“We won’t be able to achieve anything today if we just keep on staring at each other, aren’t we?” Alpha Earl initiated the conversation. He’s always been the patient one, but even he feels impatient with the situation.
