Anna Morgane shuffled her appointments around and began seeing Nico three times per week. The frequency was at his request, and he paid handsomely for it. Gradually, he began to unlearn what had been drilled into his head so often as a child, and to realize the falsity of the negative perceptions he'd internalized after witnessing the contentious interactions between his parents. As the days went by, his inner torment eased. On orders from his therapist, he made it a priority to eat regularly, even if he didn't feel hungry.
