chapter 4:Dad what have I done to deserve this

In the Alastair ville there was tension in the air as Livia looked at her dad with intense pain and confusion clearly written in her bright red eyes.

she had just returned home happily and was met with a news that she was getting engaged to Jayson Morgan the next day in exchange for wealth. she never thought her dad could stoop so low just for a mere wealth and sell her.she just couldn't help but regret ever coming to this life how was she going to cope with an heartless man who doesn't even care about his own blood sister.

why was life just so cruel to her in everything in life except wealth and a caring father. wasn't this a shame to her everyone would just ridicule her including her friends knowing that the heartless man won't even give a budge about it and she wasn't even given the opportunity to prepare her bags were already moved to the mogans ville. now she was just going to get engaged and move into a haunted house where she will still have to deal with Aynaet the spoilt imp.

"dad please can't the engagement be called off and postponed"

"are you also deaf I said I don't want any room for argument I sold you because I don't wanna see your disgusting face in my house"

Edward stood up in anger and walked to Livia jerking her by her clothe.

"why should I not hate you ever since you came into my life all you do is bring misfortune into my life" Edward jerked Livia clothe more as Livia coughed out but there was little Beatrice and corvina could do knowing fully well how angry Edward was.

"d...........a...........d......p.....l.....e...ase" seeing how miserable Livia looked Edward released her and walked out of the room while Beatrice and corvina ran to her.

"sister are you okay" corvina asked admist tears but Livia couldn't answer as she was trying so hard to stabilize her breathing.

"baby I'm so sorry there was nothing I could do about it.I'm so sorry you had to go through this" hearing this Livia tears fell profusely as Beatrice and corvina couldn't stand it they also burst into tears .
