The True Mate

Chapter 2

-Two Weeks Later.

-BEEP.BEEP. BEEP. –

It’s 8 a.m. on my birthday morning. I slam my hand down to shut off my alarm. s**t, I wish I could sleep in just a little while longer, I thought as I sat up in bed. Unfortunately, there was too much going on today. Not only was it finally my eighteenth birthday but our pack is hosting the upcoming Alpha Grey from the Violet Moon to renew the treaty we have with them.

I walk to my bathroom and turn the shower on getting the water scorching hot. Once the water is to my liking, I strip down and get in. I wash my hair with my favorite shampoo and conditioner, it smells like strawberries and cream. After I am done washing my hair, I quickly wash my body and turn the water off. I dry off with my towel and slip into my clothes. For some reason, I felt like dressing up just a little bit, so I had picked out my one-shoulder floral dress that comes right above my knees.

I put my hair up in my towel and started to put on a little bit of makeup. Starting with concealer for under my eyes and using just a little foundation. Topped off the look with some mascara and a light pink lip-gloss. After I am finished with my make-up, I take my hair down and run my brush through it. My hair has a slight wave to it and doesn’t need much attention. Once I am finished, I waltz downstairs to the dining room where all the other wolves are at finishing up breakfast.
