Kade stood up from where he was seated and walked to me with a smile. I didn't reciprocate it.
"Hello Natalie," he greeted and I nodded wordlessly, anxiously looking from him to Weston that stood around the corner just in case something happened.
"How have you been?" He asked and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Why was he pretending like he cared about me and my wellbeing? He was one of the people that laughed at me when Alpha Asher rejected me and humiliated me in front of literally everyone.
"I know you don't care how I am. Please just tell me why you're here," I said, not looking at him.
