The elders in counsel were in the meeting room with a very strict and cold look, which managed to send chills down my spine.
“What exactly was going on?” I couldn’t help but think, as different thoughts rummaged my mind....not until the last thoughts crossed my mind.
“It could only be Natalie,” I thought and sighed deeply when I became very sure that it was because of her that they were there.
My brows furrowed deeply when it even became obvious to me that I didn’t have any more excuses to give—and that they could dethrone me as their Alpha.
“Have you found her?” One of them asked, as he tapped his leg on the floor—with his gaze focused directly at me.
I simply shook my head—hoping that they weren’t going to be that strict this time around.
