ASHER’S POV.
Looking up quickly, I sighted a guard who bowed his head the moment he entered the room I was in.
“Greetings,” He suddenly greeted me, while I nodded wondering what news he had to deliver.
“Your highness, the elders are here,” He said, with bowed head.
My heart beat skipped a bit, as I wondered why and what they were doing in the palace.
The last time wasn’t so good, and that was why I never expected them to come again, at least not this early!
“The elders,” I heard Kade mutter, as I quickly turned to take a glance at him.
“I hope nothing is wrong,” He said, and I chuckled a little bit.
I already had an idea of the reason why they demanded for my presence, but what confused me was the fact that they didn’t come to the meeting room.
