Natalie's POV
I had been reading different vampire novels in the library for almost the whole day. But the time I was on the fifth book of a vampire series, I was completely drained and hungry. I yawned and closed the book, rushing out of my seat to go the cafeteria in the general pack house.
I got there and got a big beef burger and diet coke. As I guzzled down the meal, considering another, my ears picked up the discussion of the people around me.
"I just heard from a guard that Alpha Asher who has been frequently visiting our pack was attacked as he was on his way here again and he was left with bad injuries."
"Yes, he got poisoned too."
"He deserves it for being such a cruel, evil man."
