Audrey was done cooking, as we all sat round the table eating—
The food was yummy, and I was so engrossed in what I was eating that I didn’t even spare Baby Lina not Audrey a glance.
The dining table became unusually quiet, and all I could guess was that we all wanted to savor the food.
Baby Lina wasn’t left out, as all I could hear her licking her tongue in obvious excitement.
That instant, I couldn’t deny the fact that Audrey was a very good cook, because!
We were still eating when we suddenly heard our door swung open....
My eyes widened in curiosity, because I was very sure that I had locked the door after I returned.
“Who’s there,” Audrey asked, dropping her fork with widened eyes in the process but all I could do was to freeze in shock and stare into space.
