The beginning of it all

I try to focus on work but I can't .I'm just too distracted by the events of yesterday. The passionate love I made to my wife almost the whole night. I never thought this would be possible but for some sick reason I couldn't stop thinking about the other guy she was making love to , and instead of getting angry it made me more horny.

I was sitting in my office going over a business proposal. I own a factory which makes beauty products and it is progressing pretty well. So a few weeks back I received a proposal from a certain Felix Almeada . At first I didn't even look at it , until my PA came to my office this morning saying he is going to come today for a meeting at lunchtime.

When I asked Chila, my PA ,to do research on him I wasn't surprised to find out that he holds a certain position in the government. In Mozambique if you want your business to go well without any difficulty you have to at least have one person who is part of the government if not you are in trouble. So I knew that one of the leaders in my community had informed someone,who informed someone until it reached his ears . When I needed land to build my factory the local government gave me a run for my money as if I was a member of RENAMO.

I had to go to Lichinga in order to get help. That wasn't easy either after paying God knows how much I finally received help. Three years later I'm receiving a proposal although I don't like it. I have no choice but to accept for the sake of peace. I can't afford to lose my company. Josenilde would be shattered. How will I be able to afford this expensive lifestyle she now lives in? We have suffered enough now it's time to enjoy the money God has blessed us with.

It's 11:30 when he walks in. I thought he said lunchtime. He is neatly dressed. A blue suit with a white shirt ,no tie. His trouser is a slim fit , he is using a leather brownish formal shoe which matches with his belt. He is a bit shorter than me but he has a nice body structure. A little lighter in complexion with perfect full lips. He has China-like eyes and a perfectly shaped nose which is rare to find around her. For a moment I think he is not from around here. He is fine, no lie about that.

Me : "Bom dia, tudo bem ? Por favor sentar. "(Good morning,is everything well ? Please sit ). I say pointing out to the chair in front of me

Félix : "bom dia, eu estou bem não sei você ? Obrigado."(good morning, I'm fine I don't know about you ? Thank you.) he says making himself comfortable.

Me : "eu também estou bem."( I'm also fine). This guy is fine. God took his time when he was creating him. His voice is melodic . I wish I could just listen to it all day.

Felix : "I won't waste much time , I hope you have read my proposal ? "

Me :" straight to the point, I like it. Yes I have looked at it. I have certain things that I don't agree with though. "

Felix : "things like ?"

Me :'' Firstly I won't accept this 60% -40% thing. Your friends can't work here and you can't make any decision without telling me first."

Felix : "but at least one person that I trust has to come. "

Me : "Unfortunately you will have to trust me enough, no one connected to you will come to work here ." I continue to argue.

Felix : "Fine . Whatever you want. I will have my lawyer draft a new proposal then." He says slightly annoyed.

Me : "there's no need for that, I will speak to my lawyer then we can set another date to sign the legal documents."

Felix :``Fine by me. I hope we will have a good working relationship." He says standing to fix himself. He nods his head once and I do the same thing then he goes out.

This is not entirely a bad idea , had I not agreed then it would have been a ticket back to poverty. I called my lawyer and explained everything to him and he promised to have the documents ready by Friday. I'm actually happy he didn't ask about the percentage I'm willing to sell. I'm sure he doesn't care much, the only thing he wants is to have shares in this company.

I decided to skip lunch so I can get more work done then leave early. At 15:30. Elsa, my beautiful wife, walks into my office carrying a small bag which she normally uses when she brings me lunch. My stomach immediately starts to gramble. She smiles so sweetly and comes to give me a kiss before she sits. She empties the contents of the bag onto the table. I clear out some of the papers to create more space for us. She brought me grilled beef with potato salad, chutney and bread.

Me: "thank you my love , I was about to pass out from hunger."

Elsa : "you are most, I'm sorry but I won't be joining you, I have somewhere I need to be in 20 minutes. Enjoy your lunch."

Me : " where ? What's so important ?"

I study her carefully as she moves uncomfortably on the chair. I guess she wasn't expecting me to ask .

Elsa :``A friend of mine from Lichinga will be here soon so she asked me to meet her at Correa."

Correa is one of the local tarvens around here.

Me:" mas você acha que é certo para uma melhor casado chegar lá ? " ( But do you think its right for a married woman to be in that place ?)

Elsa :" I'm not going to stay for a long time , I will just take her around Monte Cruz then we will go to Lichinga together."

Me :"Lichinga ? When will you come back ?"

Elsa : " tomorrow morning."

Me : " Who will cook for me ?"

Elsa : " I have already prepared supper, you only have to heat it up . Water to bathe ,you can prepare for yourself. "

Me :" I see you have already made your decision but what if I say I don't want you to go there . Stay at home if you want friends to come over. That's fine but you won't go to Lichinga leaving me alone here ?"

She was taken aback by my question,it took her a few moments before answering me.

Elsa :" then it's fine I will stay at home ."

Me :" I'm joking amor you can go. I will see you tomorrow, please be safe ."

She walks around and pecks my lips but I pull her for a passionate kiss.

Elsa :" I will. You also have to take care of yourself. Eu te amo!" (I love you !)

Me : "eu também te amo minha vida !" ( I also love you my life !)

With that she leaves. I dig in and the food tastes divine. I know she brought it so that I don't stop her from going. Well now that I know she's having an affair I don't want to stop her. All I need to do is find out who she's f*****g.
