Sienna couldn't breathe.
Her father's words hung in the air.
He's the reason your grandmother was killed.
She looked at Michael.
"Tell me."
Michael's eyes filled with tears.
"Sienna..."
"No."
Her voice cracked.
"I've spent my whole life believing you were my dad. If that's not true, then you owe me the truth."
Kirsty stepped forward.
"Michael is your dad."
Sienna frowned.
"But you just said—"
"He's your father," Kirsty interrupted. "He raised you. He loved you. He protected you."
"Then what did he mean?"
The stranger standing outside laughed quietly.
"Because Michael isn't your biological father."
Sienna's stomach dropped.
She looked at Michael.
"Is it true?"
Michael nodded.
"I wanted to tell you."
"When?"
"When you were old enough to understand."
"I'm twelve?" Sienna snapped. "I'm not twelve, Dad. I'm old enough!"
Kirsty suddenly grabbed her hand.
"Your biological father was an Alpha."
Sienna stared at her.
"Which Alpha?"
Michael looked towards the stranger.
"The most dangerous Alpha our world has ever known."
The stranger smiled.
"His name was Adrian."
Jackson's expression changed.
"Adrian?"
The stranger nodded.
"Adrian Black."
Jackson stepped forward.
"You said he was dead."
"He was."
"Then how is Sienna his daughter?"
The stranger looked at Sienna.
"Because before he died, Adrian left something behind."
Sienna swallowed.
"What?"
"The Blood Luna."
Silence.
The stranger's eyes moved to Jackson.
"You've been searching for your mate, haven't you?"
Jackson didn't answer.
"You thought the Moon Goddess had given you a normal Luna."
He smiled.
"She didn't."
He pointed towards Sienna.
"She gave you Adrian Black's daughter."
Jackson's face hardened.
"Why does that matter?"
"Because Adrian wasn't just an Alpha."
The stranger's voice dropped.
"He was the first Alpha."
Sienna stared at him.
"The first?"
"The original bloodline. The strongest wolf ever born."
He looked at her.
"And you inherited his blood."
A strange pressure began building inside Sienna's chest.
Her breathing became heavier.
Her fingertips tingled.
Jackson noticed immediately.
"Sienna."
She looked at him.
His eyes had turned gold.
"Something's happening."
"I know."
Her knees buckled.
Jackson caught her before she hit the floor.
The moment he touched her, a shockwave exploded through the room.
Every window rattled.
The lights flickered.
Outside, every wolf suddenly dropped to the ground.
The stranger's smile disappeared.
"What have you done?"
Sienna opened her eyes.
They were no longer brown.
They were gold.
A deep growl came from her throat.
Jackson stared at her.
His wolf bowed inside him.
Luna.
Sienna slowly stood.
She didn't feel afraid anymore.
She felt powerful.
She could hear everything.
Every heartbeat.
Every breath.
Every wolf outside.
And then she heard something else.
A voice.
Hundreds of voices.
All at once.
Luna.
Sienna looked towards the window.
The wolves outside were lowering their heads.
Every single one.
Even the stranger.
Jackson stared in disbelief.
"You've just commanded an entire pack."
Sienna looked at her hands.
"I didn't mean to."
Jackson stepped closer.
"You don't have to mean to."
His voice was gentle.
"It's who you are."
Sienna looked into his eyes.
For the first time since meeting him, she didn't step away.
"What does this mean for us?"
Jackson's expression softened.
"It means you're my mate."
Sienna shook her head.
"That's not what I'm asking."
Jackson understood.
"The silver moon."
Sienna touched the pendant around his neck.
"My grandmother warned me about it."
Jackson slowly removed it.
"My father gave this to me."
"Why?"
"It's the symbol of the Black Ridge Alpha."
Sienna stared at it.
"Then why did she tell me never to trust you?"
Jackson's face fell.
"I don't know."
The stranger suddenly laughed.
"She knew."
Everyone turned.
The stranger looked directly at Jackson.
"Your father wasn't the Alpha who betrayed Elena."
Jackson went still.
"Who was?"
The stranger smiled.
"Your grandfather."
Jackson's eyes widened.
And Sienna realised the truth was even bigger than she'd imagined.
Her grandmother hadn't been warning her about Jackson.
She had been warning her about his bloodline.
The stranger stepped backwards.
"We'll see you soon, Blood Luna."
He turned.
"Wait!"
Sienna's voice echoed through the night.
The stranger stopped.
Sienna's golden eyes burned brighter.
"Who are you?"
He looked over his shoulder.
"My name is Ronan."
A slow smile appeared on his face.
"And I'm the Alpha who killed your grandmother."
Then he disappeared into the darkness.
Sienna stood frozen.
Jackson looked at her.
"Sienna..."
She turned towards him.
There were tears in her eyes.
"I want to know everything."
Jackson nodded.
"You will."
She looked at the silver moon pendant in his hand.
"But from now on..."
She wiped her tears away.
"...no more secrets."
Michael lowered his head.
Kirsty nodded.
And somewhere deep inside Sienna, her wolf whispered for the first time.
Find Ronan.
Make him
