Evelynn slowly opened her eyes, feeling like she just had the best sleep in her life. Slipping on her glasses, she looked around and found Greyson was gone. Disappointment bubbled up inside her until she saw the notepad on the small table next to her bed.
“Evelynn, I must take care of a few things today but will be back later. Thinking of you, Rest well, yours, Greyson.”
