Greyson spent the rest of the evening trapped behind his desk, surrounded by stacks of pastel-colored files while preparing for the Wolfen Council’s monthly investment meeting. Normally, work like this came easily to him. Numbers, business, pack duties all made sense to him. However, tonight, his mind refused to settle into his work. Every time he tried to focus on the reports, his thoughts drifted back towards the attack, towards Aaron and the team.
