A few days later, Addie was just getting off work. Cage was on his bike waiting for her to leave the hospital and go to her car.
Her phone rang. She looked at it and saw it was her mom. Smiling she answered it.
“Hello? Oh my God! Ok! I’ll be right there.”
While she was talking, Cage got a text from Viper. “Get my daughter to the clubhouse now. Lydia was followed.”
“Let’s go.” Cage replied.
He grabbed her hand and led her to the parking lot. When she started towards her car, he pulled her back to his bike.
“Leave it. I’ll send someone for it. Get on.” He ordered.
Cage drove as fast as was safe. They arrived at the clubhouse. Once he parked, they both jumped off the bike and ran inside. Lydia was sitting on a sofa with Viper’s arms around her. Addie could see she was visibly shaken.
