"Why did Grandfather have to acknowledge her first? I mean I am obviously his daughter-in-law or whatever. Why would he have to call Laura like that?" I thought to myself in anger as I watched Laura beam a smile while responding to Grandfather.
I was so jealous that it was clearly written all over my face. I did not want Laura to get any recognition from Grandfather. I had even thought he would not want to have her there but look at him talking to her casually like he had known her for long.
"I have to sabotage her and do something to make Grandfather dislike her. I don't want her here! I must make sure these smiles don't last long on that ugly face of hers!" I thought further as I kept shooting a dead look at Laura.
