I bit my finger as I thought about the event of last night. I could not believe that Laura actually came to Grandfather’s house, where she does not even belong.
The most annoying part of the night that I could not seem to forget nor get out of my head was when Laura caught me drinking wine.
“How could I have forgotten my act, so much so that I had to take wine in front of Laura?” I asked myself in frustration as I feared greatly that she might end up finding out that I faked my pregnancy.
I could still remember the way she stared at me and how she looked at me suspiciously. She seemed to be really curious.
